The Hart County News-Herald is a weekly newspaper serving Hart County in South-Central Kentucky, including Munfordville, Bonnieville and Horse Cave.Headquartered in Horse Cave, it is owned by Jobe Publishing, Inc.
Madisonville is a home rule-class city [6] in and the county seat of Hopkins County, Kentucky, United States, [7] located along Interstate 69 in the state's Western Coal Fields region. The population was 19,591 at the 2010 census. [8] Madisonville is a commercial center of the region and is home to Madisonville Community College.
The Mountain Eagle is a local weekly newspaper published in Whitesburg, Kentucky. It is the main newspaper of Letcher County, Kentucky and one of the primary newspapers of the Eastern Kentucky Coalfield. It was published by Thomas E. Gish until his death in November 2008, and edited by his son, Benjamin T. Gish.
The Adair County News was founded by Charles S. Harris in 1887 as a Democratic alternative to Alvin A. Strange's Republican Columbia Spectator, in its first issue it was stated that the purpose of the News was that it was to serve as "a true Democratic paper, come to advocate honest convictions and defend noble principles."
