Prior to 1963, the LISD board room was the sanctuary of the First Baptist Church of Laredo. Laredo Independent School District is a public school district based in Laredo in Webb County, Texas, United States. The district serves the south central portion of Laredo. Raymond & Tirza Martin High School is a secondary school in the Laredo Independent School District in Laredo, Texas, United States. Grades 9–12 are taught there. It serves students living in central Laredo. The school is adjacent to the Laredo Civic Center.
In 2015, the team made another record, with two students placing third and sixth. In 2016, the team also made another record in which one student was the district champion and the other placed third; the team lost the district champion team title to San Antonio's Southside High School (back-to-back champions) by 7 points.
John B. Alexander High School is a secondary school in Laredo, Texas, United States and a part of the United Independent School District. The high school was established in 1994 to alleviate overcrowding at United High School in northern sector of Laredo. Freshman students are housed in a separate building at 4601 Victory Drive. [2]
