Sehol E20X rear. The Sehol E20X is the first car produced by Sehol or originally, Sol. The car debuted during the 2018 Beijing Auto Show and is based on the JAC Refine S2 and JAC iEV7S, while featuring a new front that is reminiscent to the front of a SEAT due to the previous plans of bringing electrified SEAT vehicles into China under the Sol brand.
The Sehol X8 Plus was launched in July 2022 as the slightly larger and more premium variant of the Sehol X8 with redesigned front and rear end adding 10mm to the full vehicle length. The Sehol X8 Plus is offered as standard with six seat and seven seat versions while powertrain remains to be the same as the standard Sehol X8.

It is the first brand new model of the Sehol brand. For outside China, the car was sold of rebadged JAC JS6. [1]
In 2020, the Volkswagen Group increased its stake in the joint venture, JAC Volkswagen, to 75% and officially renamed Volkswagen Anhui. The Sehol brand has been licensed for use by JAC, essentially making it no longer a joint venture brand. [26] In 2023, JAC revealed that they decided to phase out the Sehol brand in the future. [25]
