Atrocious is a 2010 Spanish found-footage horror film, written and directed by Fernando Barreda Luna, that was released in the United States (US) on August 17, 2011. [1]The film relays the story of two siblings during an Easter holiday at their family's country house in Sitges; the brother decides to investigate a local urban legend involving the ghost of a missing girl named Melinda.
Biutiful premiered at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival, and was released theatrically by Videocine in Mexico and United International Pictures in Spain on 22 October 2010 and 3 December, respectively. The film received mixed reviews from critics, and was a box-office bomb grossing $24.7 million worldwide on a budget of $35 million.
