Deira Corniche, Dubai. The Deira Corniche (Arabic: كورنيش ديرة) is a waterfront promenade in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The promenade, sometimes called the Dubai Corniche, lies in northeastern Dubai, in Deira. [1] It is flanked to the north by the Persian Gulf and consists of a broad pedestrian walkway that extends to the Dubai Creek.
It is located on the Deira Corniche near Hamriya Port [3] at the junction of Al Khaleej Road and Abu Hail Road. [4] The market covers over 120,000 square feet and replaces the old Deira Fish Market. [5] Goods include dates, fish, fruits, honey, meat, spices (e.g., baharat, dukkah, ras el hanout, saffron, and za'atar), and vegetables.
