Izuku Midoriya, the current wielder of One for All, meets Mahoro Shimano and her younger brother Katsuma, residents of the island. Despite some hostility from the sister, Izuku bonds with them along with his rival Katsuki Bakugo , and discover that Katsuma wishes to become a hero, although Mahoro seeks to dissuade him, fearing for his safety.
Izuku, Melissa, and some of Class 1-A at the party manage to evade the attackers, and they decide to save the hostages by reaching the top of the building and deactivating the security system. Discovering their presence, Wolfram deploys enemy forces to stop them, forcing the group to be split up as they deal with the Villains and security bots.
Izuku is first seen in My Hero Academia as a 4-year-old boy about to be beaten up by three other classmates, one of them being Katsuki "Kacchan" Bakugo, who has the ability to create explosions. Izuku was born without any unique superpower, or "Quirk", to call his own unlike his parents and 80% of the world's population.
Accepting Midoriya and Bakugo as his students, Endeavor first seeks to understand what each has to work on. Izuku hopes to master all of his other Quirks, and Bakugo desires to know what he is missing besides strength. Todoroki interjects, intending to learn everything he can from Endeavor, to become someone like All Might.
