[1] After clinching the regular season title at 16–0 in conference play with two games remaining, they dropped three straight games, including their matchup against ninth seed Northern Arizona in the quarterfinals of the Big Sky tournament. The EWU–UM Governors Cup is the annual college football game between the Montana Grizzlies and the Eastern Eagles.
