This is a list of current and past members of the Karnataka Legislative Council.The state elects members for a term of 6 years. 25 members are indirectly elected by the state legislators, 25 members are elected by Local Authorities, 7 from Graduates constituencies and 7 from teachers constituencies.
The Council is a permanent body of 75 members, of whom 64 are elected in various ways in staggered elections and 11 are appointed by the Governor of Karnataka. Members hold their seats for six-year terms.

Among these, the Davanagere constituency had the most candidates (30), and Raichur, the least (8). More than 25.9 million voters were eligible in 28,269 polling stations.
