1. Launch AOL Desktop Gold. 2. On the sign on screen, click the small arrow pointing down. 3. Click Add Username. 4. Type in another username and click Continue. Enter your password in the window that appears.
Remove your AOL account and set it up again in the Thunderbird email client. For more info on how to connect accounts, go to Thunderbird's website. Go to Tools | Account Settings. Select your account in the list. Go to Account Actions at the bottom left. Click Remove Accounts. Click Add Accounts and type in the email address and password.
Open Desktop Gold. Log in using your username and password. Click on Settings. On the General tab click on the Make Default buttons to make AOL Desktop Gold your default browser and/or email client. A new window opens up. From the Default apps tab go to the Web Browser or to the Email section and select AOL Desktop Gold from the drop-down menu.
