The Calvary Hospital in Hobart was founded by the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary in 1940, with a mission to provide compassionate healthcare. The hospital’s heritage, however, dates back to 1899 when the Homoeopathic Hospital opened on the site of what is now Calvary St John’s Hospital in South Hobart.
