Canandaigua Lake / ˌ k æ n ə n ˈ d eɪ ɡ w ə / is the fourth largest of the Finger Lakes in the U.S. state of New York. [1] The City of Canandaigua is located at the northern end of the lake and the village of Naples is several miles south of the southern end. It is the westernmost of the major Finger Lakes.
The south town line borders Schuyler County, New York, to the southwest and Tompkins County to the southeast and the east town line is defined by Cayuga Lake, one of the Finger Lakes. The town of Lodi is to the west and the town of Ovid is to the north. New York State Route 89 and New York State Route 96 are north–south highways in the town.
