Elissa Blair Slotkin (born July 10, 1976) is an American politician who is a United States senator-elect from Michigan. She has served as the U.S. representative for Michigan's 7th congressional district since 2019. [1] The district, numbered as the 8th from 2019 to 2023, stretches from Lansing to the outer northern suburbs of Detroit.
