The Perry County Jail, also known as the Perry County Jail Museum, is a history museum and historic jail in Pinckneyville, Illinois.Built in 1871, the jail was the second county jail used by Perry County.
He was held at Pinckneyville Correctional Center and at one time was the longest serving inmate incarcerated by the State of Illinois as well as the third longest in state history before his release on February 21, 2020. [2] On November 21, 2019, the Illinois Prisoner Review Board granted parole to Weger by a vote of 9–4. [3]
