WP:GBOOKS explains how to cite sources found through Google Books. Installing the Unpaywall extension on your browser helps you find the full text of the articles wherever you found them. Public or research libraries have both books and research databases, covering a wide variety of subject areas. Find yours.
If the citation includes an ISBN, click on it to locate online versions of the book, or to find it through online databases or local or national libraries. Google Books will often give access to a few pages or a snippet view. See if other editions are available (although the content or pagination may differ).
The short citations and full citations may be linked so that the reader can click on the short note to find full information about the source. See the template documentation for details and solutions to common problems.
Inline citations are usually small, numbered footnotes like this. [1] They are generally added either directly following the fact that they support, or at the end of the sentence that they support, following any punctuation. When clicked, they take the reader to a citation in a reference section near the bottom of the article.
|url= may be given if there is also an online version of the newspaper article and the |access-date= parameter is when you viewed the online version. |page= is for the page of the material needed to support the statement. (If multiple pages are needed, use |pages= instead.) Unused parameters are best deleted but leaving them blank is okay.
