Adventures of Mowgli (Russian: Маугли; also spelled Maugli) is an animated feature-length story originally released as five animated shorts of about 20 minutes each between 1967 and 1971 in the Soviet Union.

Kaa is a fictional character from The Jungle Book stories written by Rudyard Kipling.He is a giant snake who is 30 ft (9.1 m) long. In the books and many of the screen adaptations, Kaa is an ally of protagonist Mowgli, acting as a friend and trusted mentor or father figure alongside Bagheera and Baloo.
While Mowgli and Kaa were hanging, Kaa gets allergic to brown berries and the only remedy Kaa could think of is eating a tiger. Mowgli tries to stop him and asks Baloo's help for an alternative remedy. Baloo sets out to seek the remedy from Thuu. Meanwhile, Mowgli warns Shere Khan about Kaa but he doesn't pay any attention towards him.

Mowgli is the infant son of a scientist who embarks upon a research mission in the jungle. While his parents are busy, Mowgli, so young he can barely walk, wanders off into the jungle where he is stalked by a hungry tiger, Shere Khan. Fortunately, Baloo the bear, Bagheera the panther, and Kaa the python defend the infant boy.
