Kan 11 (Hebrew: כאן 11 lit. ' Here 11 ' ) is an Israeli state-owned free-to-air television channel. Operated by the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation (IPBC), it launched on 15 May 2017, replacing Channel 1 after the closure of the Israel Broadcasting Authority .

After the Educational Channel's closure, Kan 11 acquired the rights to the show and, starting on 31 August 2018, began airing reruns of the show before renewing it for a second season on 12 February 2019. [1] The season ran for 20 episodes, plus one behind the scenes episode.

Carthago (Hebrew: קרתגו) is an Israeli period drama broadcast on Kan 11, created by brothers Reshef Levi and Yannets Levi with Tomer Shani, who also directed the series. The subject of the series is the fictionalized story of Elijah Levi, the creators' father, who was deported from Palestine to a British internment camp in Carthago, Sudan.
