The Story of the Weeping Camel (Mongolian: Ингэн нулимс, Ingen nulims, "Tears of the Camel") is a 2003 German docudrama distributed by ThinkFilm. It was released internationally in 2004. The film was directed and written by Byambasuren Davaa and Luigi Falorni.
Ella Harper (January 5, 1870 – December 19, 1921), [1] known professionally as The Camel Girl, [2] was born with an extremely rare orthopedic condition that caused her knees to bend backwards, called congenital genu recurvatum. Her preference to walk on all fours resulted in her nickname "Camel Girl".
However, The Story of the Weeping Camel submitted itself for the Academy Award for Best Documentary (Feature) the following year and was nominated. The first two Mongolian submissions were German co-productions, directed or co-directed by Byambasuren Davaa and were filmed in Mongolian.
After Little Creatures (1985), the band released True Stories (1986). Notable songs from the album include one of the group's biggest hits, " Wild Wild Life ", and "Radio Head", a song from which the English rock band Radiohead took their name.

The movie tells about a 11-year-old Mongolian boy living the traditional life as nomad with his family in the Mongolian steppe, whose peaceful life is "threatened by the encroachment of international mining companies, digging for gold and devastating the natural habitat."
