One of the lead characters in City Hunter—Kaori—makes extensive use of the "transdimensional hammers" as they are sometimes called, as they are one of the two main running gags in the series; the other is the extreme lecherousness of the other main character—Ryo—which almost invariably leads to the use of said hammers.

The main character. A high-school otaku student who is transported along with his classmates to another world, where he only gains a very low-level transmutation skill. During the first hike in the Orcus dungeon, Hajime uses his skill to protect his classmates, only to be betrayed by one of them and thrown straight into the abyss of the dungeon.
His Japanese name is based on the word "neru" (寝る to sleep), while his English name is based on the word "snooze". Dexter (めがねくん, Megane-kun) Voiced by: Chihiro Suzuki (Japanese), Samuel Vincent (English) Owned by Curtis. A refined hamster, who is quite smart.
