Nick Jr. is a British/Irish pay television channel owned and operated by Paramount Networks UK & Australia.The channel is aimed at preschool children. It is the first ever full-day preschool-oriented TV channel in the United Kingdom and all of Europe, having launched on 1 September 1999.

Nickelodeon's UK operations was owned by Nickelodeon UK Ltd., which originally operated as a 50-50 joint venture between MTV Networks International and Kidsprog Ltd., a subsidiary of BSkyB formed solely for the launch of the channel. By 2005-2006 the stake was altered so MNA owned 60% and Sky owned 40%.
In the autumn of 2022, the network began taking on several temporary brandings reflected in electronic program guides in concert with month-long marathons of several series, including Nick SpongeBob, Nick Horrid Henry [5] [6] and Nick Loud House.
