The Catholic Church in Iran is part of the worldwide Roman Catholic Church, under the spiritual leadership of the Pope in Rome. In 2022, there were about 21,380 Catholics in Iran out of a total population of about 86.8 million. [1] They are part of the Armenian Catholic Church, Chaldean Catholic Church and Latin Church.
