Kyambogo University Central Library. The university campus is located on Kyambogo Hill, approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi), by road, east of the central business district of Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. [7] The geographical coordinates of the university campus are: 0°21'00.0"N, 32°37'48.0"E (Latitude:0.350000; Longitude:32.630000). [8]
Banda is also the location of Nabisunsa Girls’ School, a public residential all-girl high school, located north and east of the university. [5] Kyambogo College School , a mixed, public non-residential secondary school is also located on the hill. [ 6 ]
It was subsequently moved to Mbarara and finally to Kyambogo as well. In 1988, the Uganda National Institute of Special Education (UNISE), originally a department at ITEK, was spun off as a separate institution. In 2003, the three institutions were merged to form Kyambogo University, the third public university to be established in Uganda. [3] [4]

In 2020, Kyazike was part of the group at Kyambogo University, funded by UNESCO and the Cross-Cultural Foundation of Uganda, that developed a university curriculum about African cultural heritage to be taught in several Ugandan universities.

In May 2018, she was appointed Deputy Vice-Chancellor in charge of Academic Affairs [3] at Kyambogo University. [4] She was appointed alongside Associate Prof. Annabella Habinka Basaza of Mbarara University and Prof. John Robert Tabuti as Government representatives to Busitema University Senate.
