Ages and Ages is an American rock band from Portland, Oregon. The group was included as Portland‘s 2011 Best New band by Willamette Week. [1] In 2011 they signed a record deal with Partisan Records and were dropped from the roster in 2017. In 2013 the band changed their name from AgesandAges to Ages and Ages.
Federale was established in 2004 following the disbandment of the Portland group Cocaine Unicorn, [4] spearheaded by Collin Hegna of The Brian Jonestown Massacre. [5] The concept was initiated by drummer Ryan Sumner, in collaboration with guitarist Carl Werner and percussionist Dasa Kalstrom, who, along with Hegna, sought a new musical direction after their previous band disbanded.
