Westport is a town in Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States.Located in the Gold Coast along the Long Island Sound, it is 48 miles (77 km) northeast of New York City and is part of the Western Connecticut Planning Region.
In 1979 Westport moved its municipal offices to a rehabilitated grade school building at 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, CT 06880. [2] The building is currently occupied by Don Memo, a Mexican restaurant, and Walrus Alley, a southern-style BBQ restaurant and bar. [3] [4] The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. [1]
