Rivers Cuomo (/ ˈ k w oʊ m oʊ / KWOH-moh; born June 13, 1970) is an American musician best known as the lead vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter of the rock band Weezer.Cuomo was born in New York City and raised in several Buddhist communities in the northeastern U.S. until the age of 10, when his family settled in Connecticut.
Shortly before Weezer's first album came out 25 years ago, Jason Cropper learned his girlfriend was pregnant – and that led to his dismissal from the band. But today, he has no regrets.
Prior to the expanded deluxe edition of The Blue Album in 2004, this was the only Weezer track released to feature Cropper on guitar and backing vocals. Despite being fired from the band, Cropper has remained friends with the other members of Weezer and attended Rivers Cuomo's wedding in 2006. [4]
