Bright Shores Health System is a hospital network in Grey and Bruce counties in Ontario, Canada. It operates six hospitals sites, including the 400-bed [1] Owen Sound Regional Hospital. The other five hospitals are Lion's Head Hospital, Markdale Hospital, Meaford Hospital, Southampton Hospital and Wiarton Hospital. [2]
The new hospital, as of 2022 is one of eleven [7] operated by Grey Bruce Health Services. [8] The hospital employs 107 staff. [9] As of 2022, the 12 of the 22 beds are used for acute care beds and 10 for complex continuing care beds. [10]
West Grey has one hospital in the Town of Durham: South Bruce Grey Health Centre, [11] Durham. The 10-bed hospital has an Emergency Department available 24-7, laboratory, pharmacy, and diagnostic services.
