In February 2022, Billboard inaugurated Romania Songs, a streaming and digital download -based chart compiled by MRC Data.

His studio albums Music by Candlelight (1978) and Traumland der Panflöte (1979) peaked at number two in the Netherlands and Germany, respectively, while several of his other records released in the 1980s were certified multiple times platinum by Music Canada.
