In 2023, TECO San Francisco purchased a brand new seven-story building at 345 4th Street, and it was purchased for $52.8 million. The Fifth Moon Group (simplified Chinese: 五月画会; traditional Chinese: 五月畫會), also known as the Fifth Moon Art Group, is a group of Chinese artists who pioneered the modern art movement in post-war Taiwan between the mid-1950s and the 1970s.
Tong was born in 1942 in Shanghai [2] and began practicing art at an early age. [3] Her study of calligraphy began when she was eight. [4]She received a fine arts degree from National Taiwan Normal University before further visual arts education in the United States at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where she received a M.F.A in oil painting and ceramics. [2]

Cindy Shih (born 1982) [1] is a Taiwanese-born American visual artist. [2] Her work is strongly rooted in traditional techniques and principles, including Chinese literati painting, Venetian plasterwork, landscape painting, and realism, although producing thoroughly modern pieces.
