The Terminal, also known as the Pittsburgh Produce Terminal and formerly the Pennsylvania Fruit Auction & Sales Building, is a building located at 2100 Smallman Street in the Strip District neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Built in 1926, the Produce Terminal stretches 1,533 feet long over five blocks.
21-story office building designed by Grassold, Johnson, Wagner & Ilsley in International style and built by Hunzinger Construction in 1968 as headquarters for M&I Bank, founded in Milwaukee in 1847. In the 1970s M&I and other banks developed the TYME machine system; the first cash terminal in the US was installed in the lobby of this building.
The Marine Terminal Building Warehouse at 120 N. Broadway is a 3-story warehouse designed by Albert Hecht of Chicago and built in 1917–18.
