The Texas Girls' Choir is made up of around 100 girls between the ages of 8 and 12 from the North Texas region. Although the state finals game in 1974 ended in a 0–0 tie (vs Celina), UIL granted both teams co-championships. In 2005, the Wildcats again reached the state 1-A finals, falling 21–20 to Stratford.
