The Indian Navy Band, also known as Indian Naval Symphonic Band is the Indian Navy's full time music band. It was established in 1945 and is currently attached to the INS Kunjali . At the time of it commissioning, it had a strength of 50 musicians. [ 5 ]

The Military Music Wing of the Army Education Corps is an educational institution that supports the Indian Army and all military bands and musicians in its ranks. Being part of the AEC, its facilities are located in Pachmarhi , Madhya Pradesh state.
Samman Guard (English: The Guard of Honour, Hindi: सम्मान गार्ड) is the official slow march of the Indian Army. The music was composed by L. B. Gurung. It was released under The Gramophone Company of India record label on January 1, 1972, as the last song on the Martial Music Of The Indian Army Vol. 1 Album. [1] [2]

The INS Jarawa Band is currently attached to the ship and based in Port Blair. [8] The band was created in 1985 and has been a key component of military-civil relations in the city. It performed at various venues such as Raj Niwas, Port Blair , Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Island , Marina Park .
