My Dometic furnace short Cycles I have a 2018 Miranda and the furnace blower starts, ignition occurs, runs for a minute then shuts off, then restarts for 10 or 15 seconds, then shuts off, keeps going like that, I have a full tank of propane, its plugged into 110V, vent is clear and is putting out warm air as it won't keep running.
Hello fellow Rv'ers. Hoping someone has had this issue cause CW is certainly no help, LOL, yah big surprise. Ive got a 2019 Keystone Cougar 29 RLD. We are FT Rv'ers so getting my rig in the shop is very difficult for any warranty work. We've had NO issues with our furnace since we got the Cougar. BUT, yesterday we needed the heat.
So, have a 2019 Jayco JayFeather 27RL with the Dometic DF Series LP gas furnace. Took it out for the first time this season and it was pretty cool in the evening and nights. Turned on the furnace and it worked perfect for the first night. Woke up yesterday morning and it was only about 50 degrees in the trailer. Furnace wouldn't lite or come on ...
The 2017-2019 Dometic Atwood furnace has been experiencing some problems with sail switches not staying closed during furnace operation. This has been especially problematic with furnaces mounted vertically. A new sail switch was introduced that has cured the problem. This is how I troubleshoot. Removed the sail switch and bracket from the furnace.

This one is new to me (2004 Travel Supreme 5th wheel, furnace is of that era and model number is SF-42F) and now after using it a bit more with the new limit switch it seems to be functioning properly, albeit with fairly quick turnarounds between when the furnace turns off and then back on again for another heat cycle.
The AC is a Dometic 6204 Series with a thermostat that controls both the AC and a furnace, which is a separate unit. They seem to be interconnected, and I need to bypass/ re-wire in order to remove the AC, but keep the thermostat and furnace in operating order. Here are some photos of what I am looking at: Wiring Diagram: Thermostat Exterior:
Normally on the Dometic AC controller we have options for COOL, AUTO, HP, FAN and OFF on all 3 zones of our 2015 Dutchstar, with additional FURN options on zones 1 and 3 for furnace use in cold weather. This season, the FURN no longer shows up on zone 1 as an option. Thankfully, FURN still shows up for zone 3 (rear of coach) and works great!
