2.4k. August 23, 2005. Nunya. #3. Posted February 15, 2018. On the stretch of the Beachline from MCO to Port Canaveral, there are two tolls. One is $1 and one is $1.25. I'd pay in cash; just watch for the gigantic overhead signs that tell you when to head for the toll booths. Also, make sure any transponder from the rental car company is off.
You would shuttle back to the airport to catch the cruise line's shuttle to the ship. Option two is to stay at a hotel near MCO with a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel and arrange private transportation through a company like Mears Transportation that will pick you up at the hotel. Option three is, if you arrive early enough, take ...
Hi! My wife and I have cruised quite a bit. Did 8 day cruise in July 2021. But we’ve never cruised out of Port Canaveral. We’re cruising there next month and have a return date after the cruise that’s on a Monday. We were looking at a flight leaving MCO at 11:30am. The cruise line obviously recom...
Type in Port Canaveral Cruise Terminal as pick-up and MCO as drop off. We have used Go Port Canaveral (who uses motor coaches) and the cruise line transfers... if you are not off the ship very early, Uber/Lyft costs tend to skyrocket due to demand pricing and the fact that the drivers are now 45 minutes away at MCO.
Knights on the Beach. 5.2k. May 12, 2000. Cape Canaveral, Florida. #7. Posted February 7, 2022. We live just a couple miles from the port and often take Lyft or Uber. While we had longer than normal wait times before cruises started back up last summer, that has not been the case since.

1.1k. May 15, 2003. Evansville, IN. #1. Posted 1 hour ago. Our flight arrives after all of the routine MCO bus transfers to Cape Canaveral stops. The latest bus transfer I could find was around 12:30pm. We arrive much later.
December 19, 2001. #2. Posted 5 hours ago. Not sure this is of help, but I've found a Lyft/Uber is more convenient and cheaper than the shuttle charges from MCO to Port Canaveral. Just offering that up as I'm also the major "family" travel planner. And Lyft is on your timeline, not the cruise shuttle's...no need to go back to the airport, just ...
Posted April 22, 2010. Cab fare from MCO to the Port runs about $110.00 one way. You can find car service for up to 7 persons for Approximately $180.00 round trip. The car service will pick you up at the baggage carousels and take you to the port, a 50 minute drive.
I went back a few pages on this board thinking I'd find my answers to my questions but didn't. If you need transport, Cortrans seems to be the most popular car service to use. I have two questions re MCO flight after Port Canaveral disembarkation: Might you know what is the time RCCL recommends f...
