Union Township is one of fourteen townships in Clinton County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 940 (down from 973 at 2010 [4]) and it contained 405 housing units. The township's name refers to its creation from the northern part of Center Township and the southern part of Owen. [5]
The act forming the county was approved by the Indiana General Assembly on January 29, 1830, and created Clinton from the eastern parts of neighboring Tippecanoe County. Lieutenant General James F.
