There is a rumor floating around the satellite radio boards that the SiriusXM app is out soon (there's that word again! 🙄). Could be as early as Tuesday, but according to what I've read full price ($12.95) is being charged for the limited Internet radio subscription, which isn't worth it considering you don't get all the channels.

I currently have an XM radio and would like to add the service in the car to our current billing as an additional receiver. Even though Sirius and XM have merged, Sirius and XM billing is separate. If the Toyota has a Sirius based radio I will have to pay full price for a completely different satellite service.

XM and Sirius are very different systems. Sirius has a satellite relatively high in the southern sky in addition to roving satellites in the northern sky that provide really good coverage without repeaters. XM only has a southeastern sky satellite and a southwestern sky satellite and relies on repeaters.
I installed an outdoor (sirius) antenna in our office building. We connected one office with coax from a dual port power passing splitter to a sirius stratus car radio on a power supply. The other coax port was connected to an XM car radio on a power supply. Both radios work flawlessly.
