TNT (formerly known as Piltel, Mobiline, Phone Pal, and still unofficially known as Talk 'N Text) is a cellular service of Smart Communications in the Philippines. [1] By April 2000, Piltel launched it's GSM brand, Talk 'N Text. Piltel also reported 16,590,737 subscribers to its GSM brand, Talk 'N Text, before its transfer to Smart.
By the same day, Piltel launched its GSM brand, Talk 'N Text. In March 2004, Smart Communications acquired 45.3% stake in Piltel from its parent PLDT. [3] Since then, most of Piltel's employees have been absorbed by Smart Communications. Likewise, the management of its wireless business have also been outsourced to Smart Communications.

The 2007–08 Talk 'N Text Phone Pals season was the 18th season of the franchise in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Phone Pals' notable move in this season was trading its superstar Asi Taulava to Coca-Cola Tigers for Ali Peek .
This was the first time that Talk 'N Text and Powerade faced each other in the finals, since the 2003 PBA All-Filipino Cup, which Talk 'N Text won the series in five games. Talk 'N Text won the championship series, 4–1 becoming the first team in league history to win back-to-back All-Filipino crown after 27 years, since 1985. [9] [10]
