TIDEL Park, Pattabiram is an information technology (IT) park situated in the city of Chennai, India.The name TIDEL is a portmanteau of TIDCO and ELCOT.It became operational in November 2024 to foster the growth of information technology in the state of Tamil Nadu by the TIDEL Park Ltd, a joint venture of TIDCO and ELCOT.

The Government of Tamil Nadu planned to establish an Information technology (IT) Special Economic Zone in the late 1990s to cater to the growth of the industry. The government assigned TIDCO and ELCOT for the planning of the project. [2] In 1996, suitable locations were scoured and plans were made to utilise eight acres of state land in Taramani.

It is bound by Sholinganallur to the east, Semmencherry to the south, Medavakkam to the north and Sithalapakkam to the west. It is only a few kilometers from the fast developing IT corridor OMR of Chennai. ELCOT SEZ Campus which hosts major IT service providers like HCL, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant among others is closer to Perumbakkam.
ELCOT IT Park. The IT Park comprises total land of 147.61 acres (597,400 m 2). Out of which 123.23 acres (498,700 m 2) falls under Special Economic Zone and the rest 24.28 acres (98,300 m 2) are non-SEZ lands. Approval for SEZ is effective from 26 July 2007. The TNEB has been provided with 10 acres of land to set up a 110 kV substation. [5]
