Intake Two is a small lake created by a dam on Bishop Creek. It is approximately 16 miles west of Bishop, California . It is well known for its fishing as it is annually stocked with Rainbow Trout , and has a healthy population of wild Brown Trout .
Bishop was the home of Galen Rowell, and his wife Barbara, before their death at the Eastern Sierra Regional Airport. Tracy Smith, Olympian, world-record holder in the 3-mile, and 6-time AAU national champion, was a Bishop resident from the 1970s to the 1990s, as he coached the Bishop Union High School track team distance runners.
Lake Sabrina is a lake created by damming the middle fork of Bishop Creek. [2] It is located south-west of Bishop, California on California State Route 168, in the Inyo National Forest. [3] It has a cafe as well as a dock. The dam was built in 1907–8 to supply a constant flow of water to the hydraulic power plants. [4]

The biggest fish caught in Convict Lake was a 19 + 1 ⁄ 2-pound (8.8 kg) German brown, in 1956. More recently, a 14 + 1 ⁄ 2-pound (6.6 kg) brown trout was caught on October 17, 1993, which also was the biggest trout caught in the Eastern Sierra that year. [16] A 3-mile (5 km) trail for hiking goes around the lake.
