Bronco's bass player John Pasternak died of a heart attack in September 1986. Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant fronted a tribute event for Pasternak in December of that year, that featured Plant and The Big Town Playboys, and concluded with an ensemble band featuring Plant, Jimmy Page on guitar and Jason Bonham on drums.
Bronco is a Mexican grupero band originating from Apodaca, Nuevo León [1] originally composed of band members José Guadalupe "Lupe" Esparza, Ramiro Delgado, Javier Villareal, and José Luis "Choche" Villareal. As with many grupera bands, members wore band jumpsuits. [2] [3]
José Guadalupe Esparza (born 12 October 1954) is a Mexican singer-songwriter and the frontman of the grupero band Bronco. He was born in Durango, but grew up in the city of Apodaca, Nuevo León, where he attended elementary and high school. From an early age, he wanted to become a singer.
