The Colubrinae are a subfamily of snakes within the family Colubridae. It includes numerous genera, and although taxonomic sources often disagree on the exact number, the Reptile Database lists 717 species in 92 genera as of September 2019. [2] It is the second largest subfamily of colubrids, after Dipsadinae. [2]
Several smaller islands lie off Trinidad, but snakes have been recorded on only one of them, Caledonia Island. Snakes have been recorded on one island off Tobago, Little Tobago . Four species are venomous : two coral snake species ( Micrurus spp. [ note 1 ] ), the fer-de-lance ( Bothrops atrox ) and the South American bushmaster ( Lachesis muta ).

Coleotechnites colubrinae is a moth of the family Gelechiidae.It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Texas. [1] [2]The wingspan is about 10 mm. The forewings are dirty ochreous white, the outer half suffused with light fuscous.
