The third league is called Vierde Divisie (English: Fourth Division), formerly Hoofdklasse (Main Class), which is then followed by six numbered amateur leagues. It is divided into four divisions each, with 16 clubs in each division. The next league is called Eerste Klasse (English: First Class), with ten league divisions, with 14 clubs each.
