The transition to color started in earnest when NBC announced in May 1963 that a large majority of its 1964–65 TV season would be in color. [2] By late September 1964, the move to potential all-color programming was being seen as successful [3] and, on March 8, 1965, NBC confirmed that its 1965–66 season will be almost entirely in color. [4]
Sleep is a silent black-and-white film showing Giorno asleep. It is over five hours long, divided across five reels. Although the lack of action gives the illusion of continuity, the film is spliced together from many shorter shots. A movie that has 5 minutes of black and white is not a "black and white film". For example, no one would consider Asteroid City or Kill Bill to be black and white films. If this list is going to have any meaning at all, it needs to be restricted to films that are at least 50% black and white.
