So if the slur or phrase mark includes the tie I can't how it can be interpreted in any other way the beginning at the begining of the note. You could have, for example, either a half note or 2 tied quarter notes, this is the same thing. Either the slur or phrase begins on the note or it doesn't. Wschart 20:29, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
