Tumbleweed Tex Mex Grill & Margarita Bar (also known as Tumbleweed Mexican Food, and Tumbleweed Southwest Grill & Bar) is a chain restaurant based in Louisville, Kentucky. It serves an American-Mexican cuisine in a combination Tex-Mex and Southwest style. Tumbleweed's menu includes Continental food, encompassing such foods as chicken and steak.
By the 1890s many white families began leaving the area for what would become Old Louisville and the east end, and both middle and working class blacks quickly moved into the area. By the 1940s Russell had become "Louisville's Harlem" as African American theaters, restaurants, and night clubs lined area streets. [ 1 ]

Many buildings south of Lee Street, and nearly all south of Avery Street (renamed Cardinal Boulevard) were razed for the construction of Noe Middle School, expansions to DuPont Manual High School and the University of Louisville, and expansions to industry east of Floyd Street. From 1965 to 1971, 639 buildings were razed as a part of this effort.
Southside is a neighborhood in Louisville, Kentucky, United States.Its boundaries are Third Street to the west, Woodlawn Avenue, Allmond Avenue and Hiawatha Avenue to the north, the CSX railroad tracks to the east, and the southern boundary of the Greater Louisville Technology Park (formerly Naval Ordnance), Southside Drive and Kenwood Drive to the south.
