    Article is a pretty short write up on the different roles. According to the counselor in my IOP, the roles were first identified when studying the families of alcoholics, but they've found they're common in any type of dysfunctional or high stress family I was a scapegoat. My older sisters were lost children. Brother (oldest) was a golden child.

    I believe, in the family, a woman should look after the home and nurture the children, whilst the man earns a wage for his family. I think a woman (my future spouse, at least) needs her own time whilst sufficiently bringing up her children, and one of the above will be compromised if she does take work. Finance isn't an issue, the man will provide.
