The Wisconsin tornado outbreak of 2005 was an outbreak of tornadoes that occurred primarily in southern Wisconsin on August 18, 2005. A system of storms unleashed a total of 28 tornadoes, 27 of which were confirmed in southern Wisconsin , and 1 confirmed in Minnesota .
Four tornadoes touched in the state over four days, including a F1 tornado southeast of Eggeville, California on January 8. In addition to the California tornadoes, a 10 yd wide waterspout moved onshore between Waimea and Pakala Village, Hawaii, producing F0 damage along a 5-mile path on January 9. No deaths or injuries occurred.
