Robert Joseph Banks (born February 26, 1928) is an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church, serving as bishop of the Diocese of Green Bay in Wisconsin from 1990 to 2003. He also served as an auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Boston in Massachusetts from 1985 to 1990.
Dewane was ordained to the priesthood at Saint Francis Xavier Cathedral in Green Bay for the Diocese of Green Bay by Cardinal Adam Maida on July 16, 1988. [1] After his 1988 ordination, the diocese assigned Dewane as assistant pastor at Ss. Peter and Paul Parish in Green Bay, Wisconsin, until 1991. He worked for the diocesan tribunal as well.
