Amidst the concerns of Primordial Seawater flooding, Furina is revealed to be a cursed human instead of an Archon, split from Focalors' divinity as she worked to overturn the prophecy: a punishment for Egeria, the previous Hydro Archon, who had created humans using the power of Primordial Seawater without the Celestia's permission.
