Lake Cunningham is an artificial lake in Lake Cunningham Park, in East San Jose, California, near the Eastridge Mall and Eastridge Transit Center. It is not a geological feature recognized in the Geographic Names Information System (GNIS). It is located on Capitol Expressway and stands next to Reid–Hillview Airport.
SH 29 was proposed on October 8, 1917 on a route from Port O'Connor to Austin. [2] On August 21, 1923, the section from Port Lavaca to Port O'Connor was cancelled. On January 21, 1924, SH 29 was extended to Mason, replacing the section of SH 43 from Leander to Mason and SH 29 was extended on a new route from Austin to Leander. [3]
As the need for commercial air service became clear in the 1920s, the 1928 Austin city plan called for the establishment of a municipal airport. Austin voters supported a bond election to fund the airport (among other projects) later in 1928. The airport was constructed a few miles northeast of downtown, on what was then the edge of the city.
DART operates a bus route, dubbed Love Link, which connects the station to the airport's passenger terminal. Dallas's other major airport, Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, is also located on the Orange Line; a trip between Inwood/Love Field and the DFW Airport station takes approximately 39 minutes.
