Doug's 1st Movie is a 1999 American animated valentines comedy film based on the Disney-produced episodes of the Nickelodeon and ABC television series Doug.The film was directed by Maurice Joyce, and stars the regular television cast of Tom McHugh, Fred Newman, Chris Phillips, Constance Shulman, Frank Welker, Alice Playten, Guy Hadley, and Doris Belack.
For the first four seasons (52 episodes), Doug episodes consisted of two stories per half-hour block, with the exceptions of "Doug Bags a Neematoad", "Doug's Halloween Adventure" and "Doug's Christmas Story" as they were full-length. The fifth through seventh seasons (65 episodes) consisted of one story per half-hour block.
In Doug's 1st Movie, he serves as the film's main antagonist. Walter "Skunky" Beaumont (voiced by Doug Preis) is a typical slacker surfer dude, with a voice that is reminiscent of the Fast Times At Ridgemont High character Jeff Spicoli. The episode debuted on November 11, 2002. But due to the disappointing box office results of the first film, Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie was cancelled and ended up leaving the original series with an unresolved cliffhanger ending. The project was later revived as a two-hour TV film that debuted on November 24, 2017. Untitled Aaahh!!!
