Maurice Fitzmaurice (23 May 1869 – 8 August 1954) was an Irish hurler who played for the Kerry senior team.. Fitzmaurice was a regular member of the starting twenty-one during Kerry's most successful hurling period shortly after the foundation of the Gaelic Athletic Association and the start of the inter-county championship.
The most successful team of each decade, judged by number of All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship titles, is as follows: 1890s: 4 each for Cork (1890, 1892, 1893, 1894) and Tipperary (1895, 1896, 1898, 1899) 1900s: 4 for Kilkenny (1904, 1905, 1907, 1909) 1910s: 3 for Kilkenny (1911, 1912, 1913)
Healy played hurling at all grades as a student at Midleton CBS. He progressed through the various competitions, including the Dean Ryan Cup, and eventually lined out for the senior team in the Dr Harty Cup. [2] [3] Healy later lined out with MTU Cork in the Fitzgibbon Cup. [4] At club level, Healy first played at adult level for Lisgoold in 2022.

The Camross club did not win the Laois Senior Hurling Championship until 1959 but since then they have added a record 26 more senior hurling titles to their roll of honour (27 titles in total). They last won the Laois Senior Hurling Championship in 2023, defeating Abbeyleix St Lazarian's.
